Do consider your lifestyle. Tell your tailor where and how you'll wear the suit—daily office wear, weddings, travel, or formal events—all influence design choices.
Do care for your suit properly. Hang it on a wide-shouldered wooden hanger, steam instead of dry cleaning too often, and store it with care between wears.
Do consider ordering two pairs of trousers with your suit. Rotating trousers between wears significantly extends the life of the entire suit.
